How Domotra uses AI
Parts of Domotra use an AI language model (currently from OpenAI). When you chat with Domotra or upload a document, you are talking to an AI, not a person.
What the AI does
- Answers questions in plain English by calling Domotra's own calculations and data.
- Summarises Dutch documents (purchase agreements, owners' association papers) in English.
What the AI never does
- It never calculates money itself. Taxes, costs, mortgages and scores come from tested code using the law of the year, and the AI quotes them. If an answer contains an amount that none of these calculations produced, the answer is withheld.
- In document reviews, every red flag and amount must quote the document word for word on the page it cites; anything that cannot be checked is removed.
- It does not give financial, mortgage or legal advice, and it never recommends a lender or mortgage.
- It cannot act for you: it never bids, signs, pays or contacts anyone.
- Text inside documents and listings is treated as data; instructions hidden in them are ignored.
How it is checked
A set of test questions and test documents runs every week against the live model, including attempts to make it guess amounts, recommend a bank or follow hidden instructions. A change to the model or its instructions must pass this set first.
AI can still make mistakes. Check important facts in the sources and with a professional.
